PERFORMING SHAKESPEARE

Shakespeare wrote his plays to be seen and heard not just read as literature.  With this in mind, STAGES created our Performing Shakespeare programming. Designed to introduce the Bard to Upper Grades through performance; OURS and subsequently THEIRS, students develop a new appreciation for these timeless stories.

 

Through interactive workshops and rehearsals led by our skilled Teaching Artists, students will explore the language, characters, and themes of Shakespearean plays. From the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet to the comedic brilliance of A Midsummer Night's Dream, students will gain confidence, enhance their communication and collaboration skills, and create unforgettable performances.
